Three data tools for sustainability work

Auditable evidence for the sustainability work regulators, funders, and communities actually trust.

We provide accurate, transparent, and actionable data solutions for organizations engaged in sustainable development, agroforestry, carbon tracking, and social impact projects — built primarily for the agricultural sector.

What we actually do

We turn messy field and supply-chain data into evidence that holds up.

Sustainability data today is fragmented, hard to verify, and often disconnected from the people in the field. Reports get written, but the underlying measurements are weak. We close that gap.

01 / SOURCE

Capture data once, at the source.

Field teams, plot polygons, supply-chain records — collected with the right provenance metadata from the start, not reverse-engineered from a PDF later.

02 / VERIFY

Keep the chain of evidence intact.

Per-record hashes, satellite snapshots dated to the day of capture, source citations on every number. When an auditor asks "how do you know?", there is an answer.

03 / USE

One record. Many outputs.

The same dataset feeds compliance filings, funder reports, and internal decisions — without re-keying, reformatting, or quietly rounding to make a chart work.

Who we work with

Teams doing real work — not dashboard buyers.

Agricultural co-ops & sustainable-sourcing teams

Our primary audience. Cooperatives, agribusinesses, and sourcing leads who own the field-level data.

EUDR-exposed exporters

Cocoa, coffee, palm, rubber, soy, cattle, and timber exporters to the EU — especially in Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, Indonesia, and across sub-Saharan Africa.

NGOs & development organisations

Teams running agroforestry, land-restoration, and social-impact projects who need auditable monitoring without enterprise overhead.

Carbon project developers & auditors

Developers building project evidence; auditors reviewing it. Same source data, different reads.

SMEs & NGOs under data-protection law

Fintech, healthcare, e-commerce, SaaS, education, telecom, public sector — anyone subject to GDPR, CCPA, Ghana DPA, Kenya DPA, or Nigeria NDPA.

Sustainability & compliance leads

Inside food, beverage, and commodities companies — the people whose name goes on the filing.

“Sustainability data should be auditable to the row — not aggregated into a number nobody can defend.”

FAQ

Questions we get often.

Short answers. If something is missing, the contact form gets a response within two business days.

What does Spatial Sustainability Hub build?
We build data tools for sustainable development, agroforestry, carbon tracking, and social impact — primarily for the agricultural sector. Three products today: Commodity (cocoa data platform), MyDataCompliance (privacy scorecard), and Verdex (EUDR pre-screening).
Where can I access the products?
Each product lives on its own subdomain: commodity.spatialsusty.com, mydatacompliance.spatialsusty.com, verdex.spatialsusty.com. Use the contact form for API access, partnerships, or pilot enquiries.
Which countries and regions do you serve?
Primary focus: Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, Indonesia, and the broader EU import chain. MyDataCompliance covers GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, Ghana DPA 2012, Kenya DPA 2019, and Nigeria NDPA 2023.
How are you different from generic ESG dashboards?
Generic ESG dashboards aggregate numbers and present them. We design every product around keeping per-record provenance intact — so when an auditor asks where a number came from, there is an answer at the plot, the transaction, or the questionnaire response. We don't sell averages.
What is EUDR pre-screening?
The EU Deforestation Regulation requires per-plot due diligence on cocoa, coffee, palm, rubber, soy, cattle, and timber going into the EU. Verdex runs plot polygons against Hansen forest loss, JRC degradation, and WDPA protected-area layers — surfacing risky plots before they reach legal review or TRACES submission.
Is MyDataCompliance really free?
Yes. The assessment is free to use, open source (AGPL-3.0), and self-hostable via Docker in about 15 minutes. We collect only a company name and email, and we auto-delete assessment data after 90 days.
Do you offer pilots or partnerships?
Yes — selectively. We'd rather start with your actual problem than show a generic demo. Drop us a note about the workflow you're trying to fix; we usually reply within two business days.
Our mission

To provide accurate, transparent, and actionable data solutions for organizations engaged in sustainable development, agroforestry, carbon tracking, and social impact projects.

We're a small team. Everything we ship is grounded in real fieldwork, not glossy dashboards. We're honest about tradeoffs and what each tool can and cannot do today.
